This is undoubtedly not a complete list of conferences that might be of interest to intranet managers, but currently these are the conferences I am aware of. If you know of any others please let me know and I'll update the calendar.

22 September, London Intranets at Work

This is a new conference from the JBoye organisation, who have been running excellent conferences in Aarhus and Philadelphia for quite a while. The arrival of what I hope will be a regular annual intranet conference is excellent news for UK intranet managers.

5 and 6 October, Stockholm IntraTeam Event 2010

Although located in Stockholm most of this event will be in English, and as well as a good conference programme James Robertson is giving a Masterclass based around his forthcoming book on Intranet Design.

12 and 13 October, Copenhangen IntraTeam Workshops

The workshop presenters will be James Robertson on Delivering Innovative Intranets, Michael Sampson on User Adoption Strategies and also on SharePoint Collaboration and Governance, and then I am giving a workshop on Enterprise Search.

2 -4 November, Aarhus JBoye Aarhus 2010

This conference offers ten pre-conference workshops and twelve conference streams as well as some of the best organised networking opportunities you are likely to experience. The conference covers more than just intranets, but many of the tracks will be of interest to the intranet community.

15-18 November, Washington, DC. Enterprise Search Summit Fall/KMWorld

This year Information Today have moved these two events from sunny but very distant San Jose to downtown Washington DC. Two very strong programmes and a wide range of workshops.

30 November - 2 December, London. Online Information Conference and Exhibition

The programme has not yet been released, but there are always good tracks on intranets, search, social media and web strategy alongside an exhibition area which has a range of free presentations.

Because of consulting commitments I will not be at Aarhus 2010 but will be giving workshops and papers at all the other events, and I am grateful to JBoye, IntraTeam and Information Today for invitations to take part. Finally don't forget the 2011 IntraTeam event in Copenhagen on 1-3 March next year.
